El mundo en el que vivimos es un lugar cambiante. Sociopolítico, económica y territorialmente inestable. Esta lectura se puede traducir en millones de píxeles, la sobrecarga de información visual y virtual a la que estamos sujetos diariamente a través de todos nuestros dispositivos cotidianos.

 

El lugar de la perspectiva lineal y el horizonte estable ya está desactualizado. Esta ruptura trae consigo una transformación, una nueva normalidad visual impartida por múltiples perspectivas e imágenes multifocales, no lineales.

 

Desde 2014 llevo a cabo investigaciones sobre la recepción de la imagen en el siglo XXI. Ya sea a través de diferentes dispositivos ópticos de los siglos XIX y XX, como con el video, el sonido, el dibujo, la pintura y la escultura. Las investigaciones resultan en producciones de imágenes no concluyentes y fragmentadas que parten de una dualidad que entra en contradicción abriendo las infinitas posibilidades de la imagen ya desencarnada.

The world we live in is a changeable place. Socio-political, economically and territorially unstable. This reading can be translated into the millions of pixels, the overload of visual and virtual information to which we are subjected daily through all our everyday devices.

 

The place of the linear perspective and the stable horizon is already outdated. This rupture brings with it a transformation, a new visual normality imparted by multiple perspectives and multifocal, non-linear images-based imagery.

 

Since 2014 I carry out research on the reception of the image in the 21st century. Either through different optical devices of the nineteenth and twentieth century, as with video, sound, drawing and painting. The investigations result in productions of inconclusive and fragmented images that start from a duality that enters into contradiction opening the infinite possibilities of the image already disembodied.
